Melissa Grace Menchaca, 39, of Plainview passed away on September 10, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Plainview First Assembly with Tom Lakey officiating and Nelson Gonzalez assisting. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Melissa was born on July 20, 1982 to Mike and Imelda Menchaca in Plainivew, Texas. She worked for Wal Mart for 5 years. She is survived by her husband, Larry Joe Martinez of Plainview; her children, Alyssa Ortiz, Rory Ortiz, Mikayla Martinez, Larisa Martinez and Caleb Martinez all of Plainview; Her father, Mike Menchaca of Plainview; her mother Imelda Menchaca of Plainview; one brother, Luis Menchaca of Plainview and one sister, Kandi Silva & husband Mark of Lubbock Texas.
