Miguelia Rodriguez (Plainview)

Miguelia Rodriguez, 67, of Plainview passed away on May 1, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, Texas. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery.

The community is invited to a come and go visitation that will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors chapel until 7:00 P.M. 

Mickey was born on April 18, 1959 to Ramon Flores and Maria Asebedo. She moved to Plainview Texas in 1969, attended and graduated Plainview Highschool in 1977.

Mickey married the love of her life, Francisco Rodriguez on August 9th, 1988 and lived happily for 38 years. She loved to read and watch her shows like True Crimes, Days of Lives, and especially game shows. Mickey also loved her sports, especially her Longhorns and Cowboys. She spent time helping others while she was a caregiver in her life. Mickey dedicated her time to spending it with her grandkids and enjoyed family time along with cookouts. She was a very kind hearted, non judgmental, and very forgiving. She would give the shirt off her back to help others in need, truly loved by everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon Paul Flores and Maria Asebedo; her brothers, Amadeo Flores and Domingo Flores; her son, Javier Rodriguez; her daughter, Laura Lee Hernandez.

Miguelia is survived by her loving husband, Franciso Rodriguez of Plainview, TX; her daughters, Sabrina Hernandez of Plainview, TX, Vanessa Vasquez of Lubbock, TX, Olivia Rodriguez of Plainview, TX; her son, Ismo Rodriguez and wife Bianca of Plainview, TX; brother, Leroy Flores of Altus Oklahoma; sisters, Carolina Romero of Ulyss, Kentucky, Elia Reyes of Dodge City, Kansas; 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren with one on the way.
