Murlene Vailes (Plainview)

Murlene Vailes, 77, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Kornerstone Chapel with Bishop Lawrence Windom of Killeen, Texas officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Murlene was born on June 8, 1943 in Estelline, TX. She worked at Levi Strauss in Plainview. She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Whitten; her son, Tony Whitten; a sister, Pearlene Windom; four grandchildren, Demetria Thomas, Tristan Whitten, Diondre Singleton, Amaya Whitten; three great grandchildren, Maleah Whitten, Xzia Gabin Singleton, Diondre Singleton, Jr.; nieces, Jessie Murry and Cynthia Williams and nephew, H.K. Thomas.
