Nellene Tucker

Nellene Tucker 72, of Tulia, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Kornerstone Chapel in Tulia, Texas with Pastor Richard Trevino officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia, Texas.

Nellene graduated from Tahoka High School in 1969 and after graduation she attended Lubbock Vocational Nursing School. After graduating college, she took a course at Lamar Colorado and graduated in 2008 for pharmaceuticals. She was a nurse for thirty years. Nellene retired from nursing and opened her own baking business. She was a member and was baptized at Hill Crest Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to go fishing and going to Albuquerque in the mountains.  

She is preceded by Doyle Gene Tucker; her father, Gus Von Chandler and her niece, Julie Davidson.

She is survived by one son, Scotty Tucker and wife Carol Williams; Nellene’s mother, Betty Jean Chandler; one brother, Mike Chandler; two sisters, Nita Emerine, Jan Noske and three grandchildren, Chelsea Tucker, Nathan Tucker and Corbin Tucker and two great grandchildren, Jayvien Scott and Noah Tucker.
