Neoma Christine Crawford (Tulia)

Neoma Christine Crawford, 97, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Childress Cemetery, Childress, Texas.

Neoma Christine Crawford (Chris) was born in Childress, TX December 6,1927. She married A.D. (Cowboy) Crawford in 1967 and moved to Hart, TX that same year.

Chris held several jobs throughout her life notably as a telephone operator in Dimmitt and a secretary at Hart High school and housewife for many years. Chris loved gardening and being outdoors.Chris will be remembered as a strong minded, loved telling stories, and a joyful person always willing to help out anyone in need.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Alte Hadley, husband Cowboy Crawford, a stepson Harry Whiteford and stepdaughter Kathy {Crawford} Ethridge and sister Wanda Spain.

Surviving family members are son-in-law, Johnny Ethridge , grandson Michael Ethridge and wife Jennifer , granddaughters Wendi Ethridge, and Amy (Ethridge) Tennant and husband Matt, along with great grandchildren, Haevyn Knohboch and husband Evan, Ryan Ethridge, Colton Risley and wife Claire, Kaleb Tennant and nephew Kirk Spain.
