Norman Wade Paschal (Plainview)

Norman Wade Paschal, 86, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Northwest Church of Christ with Mr. Dee Teel officiating. Burial will follow in the Lockney Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Norman was born on May 23, 1934 in Woodbury, Tennessee to Fred and Lois Paschal. His family moved to Lockney, Texas when he was 5 years old. Norman married Velma Fay McClure on May 23, 1953 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a truck driver for many years and also loved to cook. He operated the El Camino and Pioneer Steakhouse for several years. He was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Fay Paschal; his parents, Fred and Lois Paschal; two brothers, Bill and Wayne Paschal; and a great grandchild, Ellie Fay Cabello. Survivors include his two daughters, Shelly Bull and husband Jeff of Plainview, Donna Simmons and husband Jarold of Tutle, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Melissa Ferguson, Tate Dollar, Cysille Roper, Jodi Tuscana, Kimberly Bull, Amee Bull; and eight great grandchildren, Abigail Taylor, Austin Dollar, Ryleigh Roper, Justin Roper, Madelyn Taylor, Graceland Roper, Skyler Bull, and Kase Ferguson.
