Ollie Blackstone Leach (Plainview)

Ollie arrived quietly on December 19, 2025, and left us just as softly.

In a single day, Ollie taught us how deep love can be and how fragile life truly is. Though we held him only briefly, Ollie will be held in our hearts forever.

Ollie is survived by his parents Chris & Rae Leach, one sister Charli Jo Leach. His Grandparents Mark & Kathy Leach of Plainview Tx and Paul & Dera Rousseau of Tulia Tx along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins whose love for him knows no end.

A visitation will be held on Friday December 26, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

For Ollie

You were ours for just a moment,
a breath, a sunrise, a song.
A week of holding heaven close,
before heaven called you home.

We dreamed of boots in the pasture,
of laughter running wild,
a rough and rowdy country boy,
our only son, our child.

But your road was bound in burdens
you never chose to bear.
Chains too heavy for small shoulders—
now lifted into air.

Now you rest where no pain lingers,
set free, and fully whole.
The fields of heaven stretch wide open,
a playground for your soul.

Your mother gave every breath
to keep you safe and near.
Her heart still sings your lullabies—
their echo lingers here.

Your father still dreams of days
with you out in the sun,
teaching you grit and laughter loud,
the way good boys are raised to run.

Your sister will always know your name,
though she couldn’t hold you long.
She’ll carry you inside her heart,
where love stays brave and strong.

We picture you in golden grass,
beneath a sky so wide,
running free with gentle winds
that carry you with pride.

Someday when the gates swing open,
when this long road is done,
we’ll gather you up in our arms again,
our joy, our pride—our son.

Though our arms feel empty,
our love is not undone.
For forever we’ll be parents,
and you, forever our son.
