Ora Faye Harlan (Plainview)

Ora Faye Harlan, 92, of Plainview passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. A visitation will be held at 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday October 3, 2023 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 2 P.M. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Fred Meeks officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Faye was born on September 1, 1931 to Hinton and Nina Vick in Miles, Texas. She was a resident of Plainview for many years where she was a hairdresser for over 60 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Plainview and was the mother of two daughters Nelda and Eva Bramlett. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Harlan, five brothers; Calvin Stovall, Lawrence Vick, Ayron Vick, Donnie Vick and Marvin Vick and three sisters; Rodessa Shelton, Sue Conaway and Darliene Carey. She is survived by her best friend Robert Edwards of Plainview, one brother Billy Vick, four sisters; Alma Stothers, Geneva Lee, Carolyn Tackitt and Dell Kendrix, and two daughters Nelda and Eva Bramlett.
