Oscar Bermea (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Oscar Bermea, 56, died Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 4, 2021 I the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. Burial will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A rosary will be held at 6:00 to 7:30 pm Monday, May 3, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.

Oscar was born on March 26, 1965 in Dimmitt to Rafael and Aurelia Bermea. He attended schools in Denton where he ran track in high school. He lived most of his life in Tulia. He worked for Roll-A-Cone, North Plains Compress and a Holiday Inn in Amarillo. He was a friend to everyone and would help anyone in need.

He is preceded in death by his father: Rafael Bermea.

He is survived by his wife: Marie Bermea, his mother Aurelia Bermea, his children: Angelica Bermea and Oscar Bermea, his siblings: Arnetta Bermea, Ralph Bermea, Jr., Carman Alcala, Olivia Hernandez, and a stepsister: Rosalinda Delafuente.
