Paula Z. Jackson (Tulia)

Paula Z. Jackson, 76, of Tulia passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Central Church of Christ with Pastor Oscar Mendoza officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. 

Paula was born on July 29, 1947 in Alamo, Texas to Rodrigo and Santos (Almanza) Zuniga. She married Lauro Jackson on January 26, 1962 in Alamo, Texas. She worked at the Dimmitt Pizza Hut as a cook and moved up to manager for a total of 25 years. She worked as a nutritionist in the nursing home in Dimmitt. Paula also worked at Kings Manor in the food service until her retirement. She loved Home Interior, Tupperware and cooking, especially her traditional tortillas and tamales.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lauro Jackson, her son, Noe Jackson, her grandsons, Adam Saucedo and Dominic Lopez, her granddaughter, Kimberly Jackson, her siblings, Santos Zuniga, Maria Zuniga and Josefina Arredondo.

She is survived by her children, Anadelia Saucedo of Tulia, Larry Jackson, Jr. and wife Rosa of Tulia, Rodrigo Jackon and wife Michelle of Canyon, Raul Jackson and wife Paula of Dimmitt; her siblings, Ester Gutierrez, Maggie Calderon, Juana Vargas all of Alamo, Texas, Tilia Ortiz of California and Daniel Zuniga of Alamo, Texas; 20 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
