Pauline was born on July 20, 1930, to Carl and Dessie Smythe. She married Easom Moore on January 2, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2013. She lived a long life marked by devotion to her family and simple joys that created lasting memories for everyone who knew her.
Pauline is survived by her son, Randall Moore and his wife, Leta of Plainview; her daughter, Renee Rowell and her husband, David of Hale Center; her grandson, Shane Rowell and his wife, Kim of Hale Center; her granddaughter, Jennifer Brown and her husband, Kevin of Bootleg; her great-granddaughters, Kylie Rowell, Paige Rowell, and Leddy Brown; and her great-grandson, Rhett Brown. She also leaves behind extended family members who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Easom Moore, and siblings, Jerry Smythe and Francis Hartman.
Pauline dedicated many years of service working for Southwestern Bell, Intergas, and Plainview Hospital as a Pink Lady. She was known for her strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help others.
Above all, Pauline cherished her family. She found great joy in preparing meals that brought everyone together, traveling to the mountains, and keeping her candy bowl filled for anyone who stopped by. One of her greatest blessings was living to see three generations of her family grow and thrive, creating countless memories she treasured.
Pauline leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will continue to be shared by those who loved her. Her family will remember her for the time they spent together, the traditions she created, and the love she showed in the everyday moments of life. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will remain a lasting blessing to her family and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and staff at The Beehive in Plainview for the love, compassion, and attentive care they provided Pauline over the past several years. Their kindness, friendship, and dedication brought comfort not only to Pauline, but also to her family, who will always be grateful for the way she was cared for.
Memorials may be made in her memory to your favorite charity.
