Pedro H. Seca (Plainview)

Pedro H. Seca Jr., 82, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by loving family in Plainview, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church in Plainview, Texas. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview, Texas.

A rosary will be held from 6 P.M. Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Pedro was born in Finisterre Coahuila, Mexico on July 23, 1943 to Pedro and Tomasita Seca. He was a very funny man, the life of every party. He knew no stranger and had great passion for food and coffee. He loved his wife, his kids, grandkids and great grandkids very much. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors. He had many things to say and was always full of good advice.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Lou Seca; his son, Pete Seca III; one brother, Jose Seca; and two sisters, Carlota Gonzales and Rosie LaFuente.

He is survived by his daughters, Christina Alonzo and Teresa Seca both of Plainview; four grandchildren, Vanessa Gonzalez of Hereford, Pete Seca IV of Hereford, Makayla Alonzo and Autumn Alonzo both of Plainview; two great grandchildren, Pete Seca V and Gavin Gonzalez both of Hereford; one brother, Angel Seca of Abilene and one sister, Natalia Bela of Lubbock.
