Ramiro Reyes, 70, of Plainview passed away on October 24, 2021. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday October 30, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely celebrating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, Texas under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.  A visitation will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday October 29, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel.

Ramiro Reyes was born on June 30, 1951 in Ralls, Texas to Bernardino and Tomasa Reyes. He attended school in Cotton Center, Texas graduating in 1970. On August 21, 1971, Ramiro married the love of his life Manuela DeLeon in Plainview, Texas. Ramiro and Manuela had two children, Ana Lisa Garcia of Plainview, Texas and Ramiro Reyes Jr. and wife Claudia of Canyon, Texas. Ramiro was blessed with four grandchildren, Lisa Garcia, Isaac Reyes, Rose Garcia and Adam Garcia. Ramiro was blessed with one great grandchild he loved and adored, Eliaz Rey Martinez. Ramiro worked at UPS for thirty-six years. He loved his job and always stayed busy even after retiring from UPS. Ramiro was a devoted and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He loved his family and attended every event for not only his grandchildren but for numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and working on his Falcon.

Ramiro is preceded in death by his wife Manuela Reyes; parents, Bernardino and Tomasa Reyes; brother, Jose Angel Reyes; sister, Yolanda Hernandez; nephew, Ben Reyes III and niece Angie Galvan.
