Ray Huerta (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Ray Huerta, 56, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:00 am in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday, July 17, 2022, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors chapel.

Ray was born on February 21, 1966, in Tulia, to Jesus and Hortencia Huerta. He grew up in Kress and attended Kress schools. He worked as a welder for Roll-A-Cone for several years. He also worked for several feed lots in the county.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Alfredo Huerta and a sister: Janie Collazo.

He is survived by his daughter: Alice Guzman of Odessa. His siblings: Bobby Huerta, Jesse Huerta, JR., Richard Huerta, Diego Huerta, Lupe Huerta, Diana Bullock, Angie Esquivel, Rosa Huerta, and Sandy Huerta, and his 3 living Alaskan Husky dogs, and several nieces and nephews
