Robert "Butch" Fulkerson (Tulia)

Robert Fulkerson, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026, at home in Tulia, TX. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2026 in the First Baptist Church with Lee Moore and Dee Roberts officiating.

Bob (Butch) was born on June 24, 1947, in Tucumcari, NM, to Robert and Thalia Fulkerson. On April 27, 1973, he married the love of his life, Charlotte Fulkerson, in Hart, TX. Together, they shared 53 beautiful years of marriage, standing side-by-side through all of life's chapters.

Bob (Butch) was a dedicated husband, father, and Poppi. He and his wife Charlotte spent 34 years in the ministry sharing the love of Jesus with people from all walks of life. Following retirement, he and his wife enjoyed their time residing in both Tulia and Rio Hondo, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Fulkerson, parents, Robert and Thalia Fulkerson and In-Laws Mary Helen and Richard (R.J.) Murray.

Bob (Butch) is survived by his children: Michelle Jonas and husband, Bill, of Graham, TX; Christie King and husband, Pat, of Midland, TX; and John Fulkerson and husband Darrell Childers of Fort Worth, TX; His sibling: Kay GFeller and husband Ronnie of Dimmitt TX, brother in law, Richard Dale Murray and wife, Glissa, of Canadian, TX; and sister in law, Helen Ward and husband, James, of Roswell, NM; grandchildren: R.J. Merritt and wife, Jackie; Nataley Merritt; Courtney Chambers; Thalia Flinn; Jenna Flinn; and Faith Ribble and husband, Garrett; Her great-grandchildren: Zelda Merritt, Gabriel Chambers, and Ryder and Hazel Ribble; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
