Ronald Neal “Ronnie” Huffman, 69, passed away on February 5, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Lockney.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6-8 pm at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview.

Ronnie was born on July 19, 1956, in Plainview, Texas, to Joseph and Barbara Huffman. He spent his early years in Lubbock, Texas, where he built a life grounded in hard work, devotion to family, and great appreciation for the simple things. On November 12, 1977, Ronnie married his best friend and high school sweetheart, Vicky Stout. Together they have shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Ronnie worked various jobs over the years. He drove a truck and worked dispatch for Affiliated Foods in Amarillo for around 10 years. He finished up his career life with 18 years as a correctional officer with the State of Texas at Formby Unit Prison in Plainview. Upon his retirement Ronnie spent lots of time cooking, baking, and canning hot sauce and jellies eventually venturing out into a business, Huffman’s Homemade. He ran a food truck eventually, living out a lifelong dream of opening a restaurant, Jigsaws 2 Go Drive In. In any spare time, Ronnie could be found driving a church van and teaching Sunday school classes for various churches over the years. Most recently he found great joy working Bridges to Life Prison Ministry over the last 5 years. Ronnie was also very active in the Living Water Emmaus Community.

Ronnie is preceded in death his parents, a sister, Valerie Shultz, and a niece, Phaedra Booth.

Left to cherish Ronnie’s memory are his wife, Vicky Huffman of Lockney; a son, Heath Huffman of Lockney, a daughter, Holly Moses and husband, Wayland of Lockney; a grandson, Colton Moses of Amarillo, a granddaughter Caitlynn Moses of Lockney; a sister, Veronica Baca of Lubbock, a step sister, Sue DiLillo of South Carolina; a brother in law, James Shultz of Crowell; several cousins; many nephews and a niece; as well as an abundance of close friends.
