Rueben M. Rosas, 69 of Petersburg, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Petersburg, Texas with Sharon Wiese officiating. Interment will follow in Petersburg Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Petersburg, Texas. (1208 Ave. J) Mr. Rosas was born on April 28, 1954 in Cotton Center, Texas to D.O. & Margarita Rosas. He married Irma Robledo on July 8, 1972 in Petersburg, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.O. & Margarita Rosas; his brother, Salvador Rosas and two sisters, Marie Montez and Janie Rosas. Mr. Rosas is survived by his wife, Irma Rosas of Petersburg; two daughters, Geneva Farfan of Petersburg and Lenore Montalvo of San Diego, CA; one son, Bobby Rosas of Petersburg; two brothers, Ben Rosas of Abernathy and Roy Rosas of Slaton; two sisters, Margie Soto of Idalou and Alice Martines of Amarillo and nine grandchildren.
