Stanley J Foster (Plainview)

Stanley J. Foster went to his Heavenly Home Thursday, October 12, 2023. Services will be held in Plainview, Texas on Monday October 16, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at North Side Baptists Church, 1100 W. 32nd Street. Officiating will be Ron Brunson and James Williams, visitation will be on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Stan was born on January 20th, 1947 in Plainview, Texas. He served in the U.S Army from 1966 to 1969, He worked for the U.S. Postal Services for 47 years until retiring. While working at the Post Office he met his wife of 48 years, Betty Foster. They were married September 5, 1975. Stan and Betty were Red Cross volunteers for 31 years. Stan is proceeded in death by his parents, Carthel L. Foster and Claire C. Foster. He is survived by his wife Betty, a sister; Pat Hassell of Amarillo, and three nieces; Estella Albion, Lisa Edgar and Susan McMillon, all of Amarillo and many cousins who are loved and appreciated. We do not want to leave out his furry babies, Scruffy and Oreo.
