Velda Ruth Poole (Tulia)

Kress, Texas--Velda Ruth Poole, 74, died on Thursday, November 26, 2020. No services are planned at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Velda was born on January 7, 1946 in Miami, Texas to Ernest and Mary Rose. She worked as a new accounts manager and a building manager for the former Chase Bank in Amarillo for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Mark King and one brother: Merlin Rose.

She is survived by her husband: Mike Poole of Kress, one daughter: Michelle Callus and husband Joe of Colorado Springs, CO,  one sister: Carol Campbell and husband Bill, one granddaughter: Hannah Callus, one niece: Sarah Campbell and three nephews: Brooks Campbell, Brian Rose and Scott Rose.
