William Wesley Loflin, 59, of Plainview, Texas died Friday, January 19, 2024, at his home with his loving wife Cathy and pups, Ms. Molly and Hondo by his side.
Wesley was born November 15, 1964, in Clovis, New Mexico to Don and Luann Loflin. He grew up in Plainview, Texas.
Wesley moved to Phoenix, Arizona in September of 1984 to attend UTI where he met and married the love of his life, Cathy. They were married on April 13, 1986. Wesley and Cathy moved back to Plainview in 1992, where he held various jobs including trash truck operator for the City of Plainview and a warehouse worker at Schwann's.
In 1997, they moved back to Phoenix for Wesley to go to truck driving school where he got his CDL and began his over the road truck driving career. Over the years, he drove for several companies, before he bought his first truck in 2008.
Wesley and Cathy traveled millions of miles together, side by side along with their pups. They saw all 48 states, including Alaska and much of Western Canada and Ontario.
Wesley is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, Stepchildren; Stephen Dailey (Kaylin) of Casa Grande, Arizona, Brian Dailey of Plainview, Texas, Sarah King (David) of Johnson City, Tennessee. Grandchildren; Austin, Jason, Nathan, Seth, Sophie and Samantha. Brother; Gene Loflin (Lori) of Fountain Valley, California, Sisters; Amy Ratliff, Susie Loflin and Donna Abott (Randy) all of Plainview, Texas, Sister in Law, Darlene Loflin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, 7 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
Wesley is preceded in death by his parents and youngest brother, John.
Wesley donated his body to Texas Tech University Health Science Center for study, where he will remain for up to 2 years.
He will be forever in our hearts and minds and missed by all who loved him and all whoever met him.
